The George Washington University LULAC Collegiate Council strives to equip its members with the skills, knowledge, and experience they need to become leaders in their fields while encouraging them to give back to the country’s Latino/Hispanic community. We aim to increase the cohesion and integration of the Latino community through academics, advocacy, and action/professional development.

In March 2026, a new era of Latino leadership began at The George Washington University. GW scholars officially relaunched LULAC Council 11128, bridging the gap between the student body and the nation’s oldest and largest Hispanic civil rights organization.
